London
Tired of London, tired of life... tieto slová som si prečítala minulý týždeň v kníhkupectve niekde v Londýne... kolegyňa zase povedala, že sa cíti ako človek s ADHD, keď sme celá banda prechádzali londýnskymi ulicami...
Moje topky:
♥ Prechádzka od katedrály Sv.Paula cez Miléniový most po nábreží Temže okolo Shakespearovho divadla The Globe smerom k Tower Bridge... jeho belasá farba ma fascinovala prvý i X-týkrát pri návšteve Londýna.
♥ Niekoľko hodinová návšteva Londýnskej pevnosti Toweru, v kľude a bez hektiky.

The town is awesome, there is no doubt. You can´t know where to look or if it is better to take photos or to absorb the real atmosphere. A calmness of Britishmen sitting on the grass in the park was changing again and again into hectic tourists passing along. Now, it is time to decide which group of people you are going to join ;-)
No, London is not tiring when you choose a right place to see and stay!
Here are my favourite ones:
♥ A nice walk from St.Paul´s Cathedral across the Millenium Bridge along the riverside of the Thames passing along the Shakespeare´s Globe direction Tower Bridge... its blue colour has always fascinated me not only the first time I went in London.
♥ Few hours break in the Tower of London, without hurrying. In autumn and in winter there is a possibility to go to the nearest café, in spring and also in summer a picnic outside is a good idea. Then, walk on its wall, you can take some wonderful pictures and have a look inside of White Tower built by William the Conqueror where you can find some marvellous expositions. At the end, go and admire royal jewellery there in the Tower of London.

♥ Relax in St.James's Park. It´s my favourite one. Its atmosphere always charges my battery. Squirrels are there to make the park more varied. They are so cute. In spring there is a beautiful bed of flowers opposite the Buckingham Palace which is not far away from St.James´s Park, so go and see it.
♥ The busiest square called Trafalgar is also magic. Take-away lunch can solve a riddle. Sit down on the stairs in front of National Gallery and you can feel the heartbeating town.
♥ The National History Museum and its expositions... about the human beings, mammals or dinosaurs are 💛... that´s sure it is worth it. You can discover it especially when it is raining outside! The same experience can be enjoyed in National Gallery where Van Gogh´s Sunflowers and French impressionists are on display. However, during a rainy weather a typical English pub isn´t a bad idea, neither!

♥ In winter 2010, I discovered a magic of Xmas market in Covent Garden. I really liked it a lot. A glass of mulled wine made me feel warm, because when I was looking at girls wearing only ballerinas it made me shaking with cold.
♥ Picadilly
Circus just before Halloween is also an interesting place where you can meet skeletons, ghosts or people full of imagination. Even in another moment of the year it´s not bad. When you don´t know what to do with shopping, when your hands are carrying shopping bags full of souvenirs and presents, sit down there under the Eros statue and look around, watch people going up and down the street. Maybe you will enter into conversation with somebody who is tired the same way as you are, your relax will become more pleasant and your ability to speak a foreign language will make you stronger ;-) And this is the beginning of your comeback to London.
See you soon!
