Easter time 2016

Tohtoročný začiatok marca so sebou nepriniesol jar, slnko a príjemnejšie počasie, ako by sme si mnohí želali, ale keďže veľkonočné sviatky sú o niečo skôr, prináša marec so sebou predveľkonočnú náladu... Napokon, svedčia o tom aj príspevky na internete, či printových časopisoch - inšpirácie na výzdobu, na voľný čas pre deti v štýle blížiacich sa sviatkov, nové nápady, ale aj oprášené tie staré a tradičné. 

Minulý týždeň som farbila vajíčka na jarný workshop, nech majú deti z ich ozdobovania väčšiu radosť. Tento týždeň som si veru sadla už aj ja a trošku sa pustila do zdobenia vajíčok voskom. Ako dieťa si pamätám moju maminu: po večeroch, keď všetko stíchlo, si sadla do kúta našej malej kuchyne a maľovala. Keď sme jej chceli s bratom asistovať, na začiatku sme dostali do ruky len voskovku a tou sme mali právo kresliť po vajíčku, aby sme sa, nedaj Bože, neobliali horúcim voskom... No časom ma k tomu pustila a teraz už viem, čo tá chvíľa pre ňu znamenala!!! Predveľkonočný týždeň krásne zabalila kraslice a my sme ich hrdo a s vďakou odovzdali učiteľom v škole i pani učiteľke v hudobnej. 

The beginning of March didn't bring us any spring, any sunny days. The weather isn't more favorable, either, although most of us wish it. However Easter days are coming quickly so the Easter mood is already here... Finally, the Internet or magazines prove it - there are lots of inspiration how to decorate, free time activities for children related to Easter time, new ideas and even the old and traditional ones up-to-date.

Last week, I was dying eggs for Easter workshop. I wanted children to have more fun in decoration of colorful eggs. This week, I have already started to do painted Easter eggs, too. I remember my mum: in the late evening when everything was silent, she sat at the corner of our really small kitchen and she started to paint eggs. When my brother and I wanted to assist her, she gave us wax pencils and we were happy to decorate eggs like this. She didn't want us to be plastered with hot wax. As time runs so quickly she taught me step by step to do it and now I can understand why this moment was so magical. A week before Easter she prepared lovely packets with Easter eggs and we brought them proudly to our teachers at school and music school.
